Good ol’ DeWitt Middle School – or is it DeWitt Intermediate? I have no idea. My sixth grade cousin has a cell phone. I didn’t get a cell phone until I started driving. I think that’s more than reasonable.
I wanted to be the first woman president in 7th grade. Still a possibility, but probably not. The only things that I agree with from these 7th graders are that pirates are the best and we are so very old.
What happened to the days of our “books?” Writing about gossip was so much more fun than texting about gossip.

It’s junior high now.
I got my first cell phone when I was almost 20 years old – and it was definitely sans data plan.
As for the books and notes, I’d bet they still use those methods to some extent, since they aren’t technically allowed to have their phones at school (although, I’m sure this doesn’t stop everyone). But I think I still have some of my old 7th grade notes somewhere. It’s harder to hang on to a text message.

And spelling is not for just letters any more. Isn’t that gr8?
