I got my first cell phone when I was almost 20 years old - and it was definitely sans data plan. 

As for the books and notes, I&#039;d bet they still use those methods to some extent, since they aren&#039;t technically allowed to have their phones at school (although, I&#039;m sure this doesn&#039;t stop everyone). But I think I still have some of my old 7th grade notes somewhere. It&#039;s harder to hang on to a text message.</description>

		<description>Good ol&#039; DeWitt Middle School - or is it DeWitt Intermediate? I have no idea. My sixth grade cousin has a cell phone. I didn&#039;t get a cell phone until I started driving. I think that&#039;s more than reasonable. 
I wanted to be the first woman president in 7th grade. Still a possibility, but probably not. The only things that I agree with from these 7th graders are that pirates are the best and we are so very old.
What happened to the days of our &quot;books?&quot; Writing about gossip was so much more fun than texting about gossip.</description>
